Musicians:
5.9K JPEG: Larz

Lary “Larz” NefzgerFormerly with Triad Studios, less formerly in Amsterdam working on setting up a sailing ship studio for billionaire Paul Allen (I am not making this up….), and more recently involved in a project for Aussie soap star chanteuse Natalie Imbruglia. Larz is a maniac.

Tom Hall
Also associated with Triad Studios, currently frequenting those parts as an independent consultant. An engineer needs to be a good translator and ambassador between art and circuitry, and I am frequently amazed at his gift in this regard. He’s able to parse what I mean when I mumble something about wanting the background vocals, you know, more tinny and sharp but not squeezed so far back that you can’t recognize them as human. This kind of yammering makes absolute perfect sense to him (and if not, he humors me convincingly).
6.0K JPEG: Mark

Mark Yeend…. another busy boy and percussionist extraordinaire, was part of the almost legendary Seattle band Ondine and currently with Little Buddy as well as doing massive studio session work, sitting in with surf rock band King of Hawaii, and doing various swing gigs around town. I don’t know what I’d have done without Mark’s help in letting go of my lame sequenced elements in favor of a reality check. He’s also a really nice guy, despite whatever rock star image he may eventually succumb to.

6.5K JPEG: CD Cover

Jami Sieber…. a big sweetie and former member of Rumors of the Big Wave, who I am happy to say has finally joined the land of the living! Jami has embarked on her own journey with an impressive solo debut entitled Lush Mechanique, a beautiful electric cello project replete with interpretive dancers and a costume designer. Jami’s cellos leap out of the CD and head straight for the jugular. Very heady stuff. Jami toured in 1996 with Canadian folksinger Ferron, who was the opening act for Jane Siberry and is very much in demand around these parts. Sadly for these parts, Jami has moved to the San Francisco Bay area and will be very strongly missed. We all wish her well in her new surroundings.
John Morton…. what can this guitar guy not do? Hand him a chart, and the man has a plan. Before I can say the words “Mark Knopfler” he is off and grinning (he happens to favor Mark Knopfler when I loosen the eccentric chart reigns… just my luck).

Jonathan BurnsThis very stylish young gent has come to my rescue on the electric bass, handling everything I’ve thrown at him so far with great vervor and very little gnashing of teeth. Bloody good job, ol’ sport.

Mary Lord
A member of the Early Music Guild of Seattle, Mary enjoys playing lute at weddings as well having had a fun time on the song Sir Galahad. Simply beautiful.
Robert PuffPlayed soprano recorder on Sir Galahad, and noodled admirably in the introduction.

Ted KampThe terra firma of Sir Galahad, on upright bass. A very upright and respectable fellow who is often seen playing in a jazz combo at The Baltic Room on Capitol Hill.

Garey SheltonAnother Seattle institution, Garey took a walk on the weirder side (my fault) of fretless bass on Parrish Blue. I love how this turned out!

Holly Figueroa

Holly is a powerhouse blues singer and just as powerful an idea woman. She is loud, I am quiet. We get along famously. She is the IndieMama.
